1. Refunds of Deposits & Tickets:
- Fare Mate allows for a full refund of the deposit within 24 hours of making a reservation. The deposit amount per passenger is £75.
- If a passenger cancels the reservation after the 24-hour window or fails to settle the remaining balance before the payment due date, a £75 service charge will be applied per passenger.
- Ticket refunds are subject to the policies of the specific airline. Fare Mate acts as an intermediary between the airline and passengers, but passengers should verify the airline's terms and conditions before booking.
2. Changes in the Flight After Issuance:
- Each airline has its own policies and charges in various scenarios, including penalties for no-shows, schedule changes, airport alterations, and flight re-routing.
- Passengers should verify these charges with the relevant agent before booking.
- Tickets cannot be transferred to any other individual after issuance.
- Passengers must confirm flight details, including traveler names, travel dates, origin and destination, baggage allowance, and other relevant information, to ensure accuracy before ticket issuance.
3. Passport, Visa & Immigration:
- Fare Mate exclusively sells airline tickets. Passengers are responsible for having all necessary travel documents, including transit visas and meeting immigration requirements.
- If denied entry at an airport due to inadequate or ineligible travel documents, passengers are solely responsible.
- Passengers should verify all requirements with their respective embassy before travel to avoid unforeseen delays or unfavorable circumstances.
4. Special Requests and Medical Issues:
- Communicate special requests, such as meal preferences, seat allocations, wheelchair assistance, or the need for extra space, as early as possible.
- Charges for these requests may vary according to airline policies and availability.
- These requests should be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability, especially during peak times.
5. Price Guarantee:
- Once booked, the price is guaranteed. However, Fare Mate is not responsible for changes in price implemented by the airline or changes in taxes.
- Passengers should adhere to airline conditions, including the payment due date.
6. Insurance:
- We strongly recommend that passengers obtain insurance from a reputable agency and provide guidance as needed.
7. Airline Failure:
- If the airline fails to operate, Fare Mate is not liable for addressing claims or accommodations.
- Tickets issued are ATOL protected and fall under civil aviation security. The Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for covering passenger losses in the event of airline failure.
